    good post bogart.

but you know what's funny about both global warming AND this new ice age threat? If you were to take the 1/3 of a degree that it is supposedly warmer than average, and then the 1/3 of a degree that is supposedly colder than average, they would cancel each other out!!

i'm moving to the tropics anyhow..

    just in case ;)

I think the global warming is worse.

The Sierra Madre is nice place for you and you don't need no stickin' badges.

The great thing is, Obama probably changed the weather. He's the master of change, I figure only Obamamania could trigger a shift from Global Warming to Global Cooling.

And don't tell me it wasn't Obama, because we all know his motto is, "Yes we can".

Yes we can change the weather!

I've read that 1998 is the last year that temperatures actually increased, they've been holding steady ever since.

People the Earth changes. Get used to it, it goes through hot period and cold periods. Ice ages and global warming. Seriously, in a couple years Al Gore will be making a movie on how by driving more we are accelerating North America's drift Westward:rolleyes:

A little Ice Age could reduce crop yields by 40% and trigger global famine and world war III

The cooling will be based on sunspot activity and it appears solar activity is going into an inactive phase.
