Hey guys, Everyone knows that .edu backlinks are very difficult to come by. Well, I've come up with a system that helps blogs build up a huge portfolio of .edu backlinks with very little daily effort. University websites are constantly posting new studies in the hopes that they might receive national attention for their work. Unfortunately, most of these studies are too technical for most people to understand. So, they rely on technical media outlets to write summaries of these studies and to submit them as press releases for the public to see. Well, most reporters never find these studies or are too disinterested to care. This is where you step in. Take one of your blogs. Google search the following: "your main keyword +site:.edu". Now you will see a list of .edu sites containing studies and articles related to your niche. Now, take a few of these articles, and write short summaries (~200 words). Before you post them to your blog, e-mail the author and respectfully let them know that you read their article, wrote a summary and are going to have a press release. Also tell them that they should provide a link to the summary on their website for good measure. Some will refuse, some will insist that they don't have permission, some will not answer you. But a few of them will oblige and be very grateful for your patronage. This is a great way to add quality, authoritative content to your blog as well as generate high quality backlinks.
To rank the website, it is not important link should be from .edu site. .com domain best to increase the website rank. and other domain.
but .edu and .gov links worth more than any other tld. with few .edu links you can get high rank for sure.. and thanks for the info. I think this is a good way to get quality edu links.
google told about that. they do not rank .edu and .gov links more that others. but! .gov and .edu domains often have more and stability rank than others
Sometime some of those .edu links are not that quality from Google perspective, thus cannot rely only with them. There were many abused by webmasters and that cause Google paying attention to which kind of .edu links you got. Thank you for the trick anyway.
trick is nice, but it requires a lot of effort and time, also link from .edu matters same as .com , the only thing that matters most is pr of the page
The PR of a .edu is far more than the majority of the .com domains out there. This is simply a way to get more backlinks, and it is an effective way. Thanks OP for sharing!
