Little confusion about "Quick Links">"New Threads"

    Hi, I actually saw this long time back but I thought maybe I was missing something.

    Actually when I click on
    | Quick Links > New Threads |
    why latest threads are not shown and instead only random threads are shown?

    Its just like when I click on
    | Quick Links > New Post |

    Is this happening only with my browser?

    New Threads are threads you haven't ever read. You sure you read them?

    Ahh..I thought new threads are threads that are made most recently and sorted on when they were made. But it seems like they are just listed randomly when I click on new threads. I was wondering if I can sort those new threads by the time they were made, like latest at the top.
