Hi All Im a little confused on how to set this up, its hurting my head so i have turned to you guys for help. I have a website which users can sign up (username, email address etc). The website has a form for people to fill in each week. In hidden fields their username is stored and posted into the database along with their results. I now have a facebook application which does exactly the same, displays the form each week for users to complete. Heres the hard part.......How can set it up for the same person to use either method of filling out the form and for me to recognise it is the same person ? Some people will not use facebook and some people will only use facebook. If one person only uses the site, and then joins the facebook application, how can i know its the same person. Hope someone has an idea coz its really hurting my head. Regards Alex
I dont think you can set it up like that, because of how the facebook one store its info. You dont have access to the database for the facebook thing do you? Now if you do thats different, but sounds like it is something seperate facebook does. Best idea would just be to compare email addys. I think if you have access to both of them.
yeah i can access my database from facebook, exactly the same pages can be used, (was planning on using the same form). What yours idea now i can access my database. Yeah i was thinking about email addresses, but even my facebook account has two different emails attached to it.
