Litespeed Vs Apache for my invision forum

Hi

I use apache in my forum with 1.000 daily visits and no sharing any files and i want you to recomend me the best solution...

Litespeed or Apache?

Speed and security is the most important thinks for me.

Also if i select to use Litespeed is it easy to replace the apache?

Quite the opposite. One of the few (if not, only), that is completely interchangeable (according to their site).

 

We use litespeed on all of our servers not just because of its anti-DDoS capabilities, but for its blazing fast speed and ability to perform well even under extreme loads.

Litespeed works with a lot of control panels including cPanel (see litespeedtech.com for exact links), but is also apache interchangable, meaning it can easily drop in and replace apache without causing any problems.

 

Does it matters if i use a vps or dedicate server?

 

Not really, all depends what kind of resources you need.

Not true at all. I use litespeed with cPanel it rocks!

Makes my life easier too.
