    Hello again Carl,

Just because you want to advertise IGXHOST (on your signature) with all your lame advertising methods, that is not ok with me, as this is my sales thread.

I'm saying most shared hosts will not allow it, his visitors must of been doing a lot since he had 2500 visitors and it was using around 40% CPU. I offered an unsuspension to him but he wouldn't say anything about it. If he wants it, and if he gets 40% CPU again, I will take a screenshot to prove you wrong. He was only running a forum from what I heard so I'm guessing it was his plugins or his users doing high activity. Note it is very hard and rare to get 40% CPU guys. Personally on one of my friend's big proxy site network that I host it hasn't even used over 10% CPU on my server.

And imagine all the customers using 40% CPU - then in like 3 customers the server would be really slow.

Again, don't advertise your signature, make your own sales thread. Not too hard. ;)

    Thank you,
    ~ Adam

I'm not advertising anything in your thread. My signature is my signature and I don't think it goes against the rules of this forum to have my signature the way it is.

I'm not trying to attack you or anything, I just want to clarify with you that any site just having 2500 visitors per day does not or should not spike your server's cpu usage to 40% alone. If it really was using 40% of the CPU usage then it isn't the number of visitors or hits he gets per day. It is definitely an addon or another application/script that your client was running along with his website on the account. All I'm saying is that there are a lot of other factors to consider here other than just basing it on the number of hits the website is getting.

A website that is serving only static content may get 2500 hits or even 25000 hits per day but that wouldn't spike your server's CPU usage to 40%.

Once again I'm not advertising anything but I feel like I have the right to have some input on this since your client is complaining about the suspension, and I feel that everyone else should see some clarification on the situation as well.

I wanted to post my review of the services by HostLatch.net provided to me this point.

I did sign up for the $17yr Master Reseller Hosting.

    THE GOOD

After signing up, nearly immediately I received the customary "Welcome, here's your payment receipt" type emails.

I didn't see the login email for longer than anticipated. So I logged into their support system and found a feature I really appreciated. Every email they send to you is in the support system. I saw the email which contained all my log in details, so I went back to Outlook and found where it had gone to my spam folder. So in short, they had sent the email, but Outlook mistakenly misfiled it. Their emails are now whitelisted so Outlook now knows better.

HostLatch/Adam mentioned in the original post of this thread three different ways to contact support. I thought I would try the traditional approach, through a ticket based system. It went flawlessly and he clearly and timely addressed my questions.

Speed wise the server is fast. I speak not of my website (as I currently don't have much of anything website wise yet), but of how fast WHM/Cpanel present themselves.

    THE BAD

This is not specifically but more generally, any new hosting company has to battle the age old question of, "If I put my website onto this server, with this new company, will they suddenly disappear in 6 months?" A quick change of the primary name server to a different host can take care of this problem, but unless you are making local backups, often, this could be a bit riskier as with any newer based company.

Also, the domain registration information (as of writing this) is hidden by "Protected Domain Services" which hosts and businesses in general typically don't do this.

    SUMMARY

As more time passes, I will update with additional reviews.

Time will tell if we have a long term winner, but so far things are off to a great start. Keep up the great work Adam!

Hi, does this offer still valid? On master reseller, do i able to provide my reseller client a private name server? Is it possible for me to transfer a hosting account from other hosting service? free domain name and dedicated include?
If all answer is yes, it's definitely a good deal!

I am interested in buying your Master Reseller hosting account and I have few questions.

    1. Do you also offer auto-created website to sell hosting account like yours or I have to create site myself or sell via messengers and threads?

    2. Do you accept Liberty Reserve or in addition which payment methods do you accept?

    3. If I create instant setup for selling hosting account and any one host any illegal site that is against rules then will you suspend only that individual site or you will suspend my whole Master Reseller account?

    4. What about technical inquiries and problem solutions, will you receive all technical queries yourself and solve issues? I can't solve in-depth technical issues myself.

My current hosting account with HostMonster is going to expire in few days. So I am thinking to buy Master Reseller account so I may recover my hosting cost and make some money also. :)

Please reply so I may proceed further.

I would just drop by that I was greatly dissapointed by HostLatch, and sorry Adam, but I have to say it here.

The server was beeing upgraded, or moved, not sure, we, customers weren't even notified of the upcoming move, all we did get is a report that it was successful and no data was lost. Was missing around 20 sql records. But that doesn't really matter much to me...

Also, server CPU usage suddenly gone to 8.6, asked Adam why is that? Responce: Your site was causing the 8.6 load average.
I almost fell from the chair, how can a Joomla-based website after 14 days of hosting, suddenly create 8.6 load average?!!!

He suspended my WHM + Cpanel account, BTW why WHM? Ok anyway, furthermore, I asked him to re-enable my account to make backups for my clients since I would like to move to another server, after 2 days or so, no responce, anything.

Had a really good feeling about HL though, very nice support, everything, until this event occured, now I'm more than happy to be at NeoCpanel.com.

Just wanted to let you guyz know...

    Kind regards

This is what happens when the host itself are not able to control the environment offered to the clients. When every single client has access to "unlimited" resources, some abuse is bound to happen. Whether it was caused by you or not, anything that takes a big strain on the CPU and memory usage will easily affect the majority of the clients on the server. Sorry to hear about your experience.

Wow. Godowner or however you spell your weird username, don't be a pathetic liar, we replied to all of your emails and offered you an unsuspension and a free life time account to compensate for that but looks like you didn't receive it, please double check your emails or check spam. Your site caused so much CPU mainly because of the plugins and etc. When I get on a computer I will post more details about you and your issues. I'm on a phone now.

    Thank you

    1) How long as your host been around?
    2) Which datacenter is your server located out of?
    3) Are you a reseller of a reseller?
    4) Do you have a sign up page?
    5) Do you have Proof of uptime?
    6) CPU, RAM policy?
    7) What is allowed and not allowed? (banner exchange websites, arcade websites?
    8) Your not using apache, so does it support .htaccess files?

I guess your hosting is on the edge of cut and run stage.

Server status page is 0 days uptime. Suckage.

Sigh...: Running would be a complete nightmare as this is my ONLY JOB and without it, I would be out in the streets, I am dedicated to HostLatch. Secondly, it is against my religion to scam... and third of all, I am not like that, it just makes me feel so bad to even think about those kind of naughty actions that people do, it sickens me!

Yeah the damn status page is messed up because the script is having a problem for me.. I'll fix it soon. :) Actually, we have a overall of 99.9% uptime on all of our servers.

    1. We have been selling hosting since 2 years to friends and family (which means real-life and AIM/MSN messenger to friends) and since that has been doing well, we felt that we were ready and decided to start up our own website. The website is now finally made (after making/preparing it for about 3 months) and it is now fully functional and ready to sell hosting services to the public.

    2. Currently this master reseller is located at BurstNET, in their brand new datacenter that is 10 times improved and much better.

    3. No. We rent our own servers.

    4. I'm sorry, I don't understand? http://www.hostlatch.net/members if that is what you are referring to?

    5. I believe I did set up a monitor on a website.. I'll dig it up and let you know when I find it..

    6. http://www.hostlatch.net/tos.html

    7. http://www.hostlatch.net/tos.html

    8. We use Litespeed which is a modfiied version of Apache that acts just like Apache but makes websites much faster and uses low RAM/CPU. Yes, it does support .htaccess

If you have anymore questions, go ahead and ask them, I am here to answer them mate. ;)

All accounts are activated automatically so Bradderz, double check your email.

    Thank you,
    ~ Adam
