I have a big list of romanian directories and my website is in english ! Can i list my website in them ? Are good, valid, links ? Or i must search for english directories ?
I used to translate my submissions into the other languages, though my directory is not presented in multiple languages so im not sure how useful it might be. I used allsorts, polish, french, german..... got accepted in quite a few too.
What do the terms of service say for each of the sites? Assuming they have one, they hopefully would say whether or not they accept other languages.
I think it would be better if you will add your site to the directories having the same language as your site,
It is useful to get listed, I believe. Every little bit helps. The difficult I find lies in getting accepted. Which is a problem when you are trying to promote, say, a Spanish site, and you don't have enough useful directories to post to.
Doing some submissions can't hurt but I wouldn't spend a lot of time submitting to directories in other languages. I would question the quality of some of the directories that are approving sites. There are plenty of English directories around.
hi, You can go for the niche directories. Here you can submit your website in regional directory. Thanks!
dont submit massive amount of submissions, if they are quick approval directories then that would be trouble for u, might be it will help your website in local and regional google domain ranking.
You can post them in sites that are in other languages but I doubt that it would bring mainstream traffic. For one I would most certainly never click on a site that is in a language that I don't understand.
I don't think it'll have that much value. If you got an english site then it'll be better for you just to keep the backlinks english IMO. It's not like there isn't enough sites to choose from
Same language is better, because you need your keywords to feature on these pages or your link will not be so valuable. However, sometimes it can be enough just to get loads of links from anywhere, it really depends on the competition. I would say it is not worth a lot of your time and effort to list pages in directories of other languages, but if you have an hour to spare if won't do any harm, either. Every little bit helps. I can't see how it would negatively influence your site, anyway.
Language is not a keypoint to metrics link back quality. Any language is fine, as long as the link back is relevant with low bounce rate.
