How many months does it take to get listed in dmoz. I submitted my listing to them 3 times in the past one year. Have not heard anything back either ways. Do they communicate if they plan not to list the site ?
How do you think any directory (not just DMOZ) should treat those that deliberately break the guidelines that they agree to when they suggest a site? It can take anywhere from days to never for a site to get reviewed and listed or not. Yours is going to take longer as you suggested your site more than once.
Thank you for your response. Appreciate it. All seo reports generate have a weightless if the site is listed in dmoz. So I was curious as to how long does it take and if it really worth.
Hi, Mallofstyle Depending on the activity level of the editors in your area, it may take up to 2 weeks or more for your site to be reviewed. Can i have your site name please so by viewing your site i can have little bit more idea about that so i can help you.. Thanks, Peter
How do you explain the ~20 000 sites that got listed last month? Would you consider that active? What other directory is growing at that rate?
I wish DMOZ had a simple email notification system to notify you when your site was being reviewed or gave estimates on how long the reviews would take (perhaps based no past data)...
Why? How would your world change if you knew that information? What would you do differently if you had that info? eg "your site is waiting to be reviewed" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do "your site is listed" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do "your site is rejected" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do "your site will be reviewed in 7 weeks" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do "your site sucks" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do "you got the best site in the world, but you not bribing us enough" --> life goes on and there is nothing more you can do Why do you want to obsess over DMOZ for?
