    Hello. My website is listed very well for some keywords in Google....but I can not find it in AOL (even AOL is using the Google database). Does anyone knows why this happen?

    Thanks

    For the same keywords??

    AOL may be using a different algorithm from Google that may be the reason as they are using only the index of Google I presume

    AOL Algo Might be Different but why are you Eager for AOL, if your keywords are already listed very well in google.

    you will receive Most of Traffics from Google but Not AOL.

    every webmasters will be happy with google, No one cares about AOL.

    AOL = LOL

    Thanks

    I guess AOL is using different algorithm from Google, once your website is listed in Google which is the best search engine, it will be listed in other search engine too, it is a matter of time. Good luck

    hi Grunt,

    There are different guidelines and different algorithms being followed by various search engines,,,,, so i suggest you, if your target is AOL then go through tits guidelines and work accordingly. Then you can see that your website will be listed in AOL also.

    Thanks,

    AOL do not use different algorithm than Google. They are using Google as search system. One thing that split AOL.com from Google.com is the geo target location filter. AOL show search results for US people (because AOL = America Online) while Google.com show different results by countries. If your target is US and you want to check how your site ranking in US then you can use AOL help you illustrate. What you see in AOL is what people in US see on their results from Google.com USA. :)

    Focus on Google and then Yahoo. I don't see any much traffic from MSN or AOL. and if it is fine with Google then you should be more than satisfied, leave the AOL part.
