Listed in Yahoo but not in Google

    My website is listed in Yahoo but not in Google. It is a family tree website so ranking is not important as long as my website just shows up. I would really appreciate all suggestions.

    How long has your site been around? Yahoo and msn pick up sites a lot quicker than google does...how were you checking it?

    You do have one page indexed in google. It can take awhile for them to index a whole site.

    I just checked and Google cached your home page today. "This is G o o g l e's cache of http://www.shaikhsiddiqui.com/ as retrieved on 17 Apr 2005 07:00:21 GMT."

    I didn't dig any deeper but they will follow your internal navigation and index the entire site. If you want Google to crawl your site often you will need some good quality backlinks, or inbound links, from other sites.
