hi my site is listed with google (when i look for the domainit in the search engine) but when i put my keywords and search for it i dont listed at all even not the last site how can it be? and what i should do ? when i check my site in web tools it says it excelent for my keywords so where is the problem? thanks
Ron, It means Google doesn't think your site deserves to be on top for those keywords. That tool probably only checks what we call On-Page SEO. Sounds like you've done that part well. But sadly, that's only a tiny part of the picture, as you are experiencing. You also need Off-Page SEO, meaning Link Building. You can look at search results as a democratic environment. You need to get voted to the top. The more votes, the higher. And links are votes. So you need links. Ideally links from related sources and ideally links with your primary keywords as the anchor text. Like in your signature.
first thanks guys but i dont want to be in page number 1 (yet) i dont see my site even at the last page so to be in the last page i need backlinks too? and i have some backlinks from directories that i post some articles but when i look for backlinks throw google i dont see them anyone know why?
Google's link: command doesn't list all links. Try signing up for Webmaster Central and see what they report there. Yahoo only finds two links, from here on DP: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...ww.extra-casino-bonus.com&bwm=i&bwmf=a&bwms=p So yes, you definitely need more. And quite frankly, directory links are really poor quality so see if you can get some 'editorial' links, embedded in a real page.
Building more quality links for your site is the best way to be on top of Search engine. And also patient.
Don't worry, you will need a lot of time depending on how quality links you have to your website. May be you are in the sandbox. It takes time to get out. Regularly update your website with fresh and unique content and find 2-5 links daily. You will see the results of your efforts in few months.
