Anyone know what can be happenning? I have a site that is listed on both Yahoo and Google at the top 5 listing for multiple keywords but when searches are done on Bing, it's not even top 500.

What tricks are needed to get Bing to list like the others? Any suggestions?

Maybe sitemap is very important to bing.
But I have not submit my sitemap to bing, just put a link to my sitemap in bottom of the page.

Hey Suziclue, Aaron from the Bing Team here...

The Bing Toolbox for Webmasters would be a good resource for you. It shows you how to submit your Site to Bing, submit your Sitemap, and also gives you some good tips for how to enhance your SEO for Bing.

I'm not allowed to post links yet, but if you go to Bing and search for "Bing Webmaster Toolbox", it's the first link.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Aaron

I'd have to say that the Results are still poor. The only time it's listed on Bing is when the full domain name is typed in, examples:

    www.domain.com = position 3
domain (nos paces)= position 1 (kinda odd)
domain (proper keyword spacing) = not top 500

= all of the above is number 1 on google and yahoo

also other popular mispelling/parts of the keyword in the domain is atleast top 10 listing in Yahoo and Google

I get 75% of my traffic from Google and 23% from Yahoo. Bing just doesn't bring in anything.

I can't figure out what's the story with Bing. THe problem started when they were Live not Bing..so I guess it just moves on with Bing.

WOW finally Bing has indexed all my pages! Two months almost. It's ranked high on keywords that google and yahoo uses so this is cool. It generates more traffic to me than Yahoo also but only about 1/5th of Google's traffic

They're all different search engines with different algorithym formulas, what works in Google doesnt mean it'll work in Bing or Yahoo.

Bing is still seeing my domain name as an ebay page. It was linked to it once but has been redirected to an eccomerce site for several weeks. Just have to wait I guess
