A brand has done very well when it becomes a verb. Can you add to this list? Xerox it. FedEx it. Google it. You can also throw in brands that have become nouns. My grandmother always refered to her refrigerator as a Fridigaire even thow it was a Kenmore or whatever. Another example is people using Coke as a reference to any kind of soda pop.
Ajax. I don't even know what the hell the product is called...powdered bleach? "go get the can of powdered bleach"
A few more brand nouns that I'd have to stop and think about it if I didn't use the brand name: Kleenex Ziplock Saran Wrap Band-aid Frisbee and here's an odd one from an odd product .....Spam (aggregated pork remnants (mmmmmm!) or unsolicited commercial email).
