Just a quick heads up on Userporn...
Looks like Userporn has turned into a scam - no one's getting paid and payments are very late - admin is not responding and admin email seems to be dead. The front page normally updates about every hour but it hasn't updated for about 2 days now - questions and payment inquiries in their official thread at wj go unanswered. I would seriously advise people not to upload anything there, and to delete anything you already have.

It's interesting how a lot of the supposed 'big earners' have just disappeared off the face of the earth along with the filehosts they so actively promoted / defended. I really can't believe someone who was (supposedly) making 1000 plus per week wouldn't be actively seeking alternatives lol - personally I'd be devastated if I'd lost that kind of income !
I always thought (and occasionally said) that it was all a bit fishy - I know how hard I worked and how little I ever really made.
And another thing - I'm really starting to suspect that a lot of these file hosts where really the same people under different banners. Actually I think maybe I'm glad it's all over - it wasn't worth the hassle and risk and time and effort for a few measly dollars. Shame about my site, but hey ho - time to look at content lock solutions ;)

A lot of forums and websites have turbobit on their banned list of filehosts. Is there a reason for this?

Looks like this FileVeelocity is from the same guys of FileSonic and Wupload especially this sentence that every FileSonic affiliate knows by heart:

"Minimum payout is $20. We pay weekly, every Tuesday from the previous Saturday to Friday."

Same feeling, same words, same conditions, I think it is FileSonic re-born (not FileServe)

The real good news will be if FileSonic makes our last payment before going to open a new filehost.
It has been also reported on Wjunction that this "new filehost" looks like a clone of Filejungle, is it a mix of FileSonic and FileServe ?

Same guys or not, this FIleVelocity is absolutely useless. I bought a premium and upload speed is 50-100 kb/s while with filesonic & wupload I got 5-10 mb/s.

Agree, I read their entire thread and I recognize Hish, his words and manner to liaise with ppl.
Also, filesonic and WU were always good in the marketing stuff, very aggressive, persuasive, full of promises and promos. Same is this new filehost. They seem to know perfectly all secrets of filesharing business, they know how to attract, how to cheat, how to encourage, how to terminate the service and run a new one to make ppl pay again and again:).

Obviously there where a few real affiliates who put the insane amount of time and effort in to make good money - jimbo, dkp and a few others - but I'm pretty sure there where plenty of 'plants' too. anyway it's just my opinion. I do hope those cock suckers at gfy approve my account - I have things to say to them lol.
