Hi,

I would like to make a list of websites (forums, portals), where you can find talented people for a project.

Except the most obvious ones: Elance, Freelancer or oDesk

So if you know the sites where you can find & contact talented: Web Designers, Programmers, Admins, Copywriters, Project Managers, Assistants & so on write it down and I will update this threat and add to the list. If it's local one add (location).

As I am currently looking for Project Manager for a Lead Generation Project myself and can't find the right person I would love to hear you ideas.

I have found some good outsources on Fiverr for such things as book covers,logos and such. Just be sure to search by highest ratings and check their feedback.

 

I recommend one site that is specific for webmasters: Yooker.com

 

Believe it or not there is alot of talent on Fiverr,they just have there super skills covered up buy requiring you to purchase multiple gigs or gig extras.For example I used a guy who would great a beautiful website for you for $5.I was like wow this is too good to be true.That was the front end of his gig.To make sure it was mobile friendly,to have it put on your host site,to have him add certain graphics like headers,footers,exc were all extras.Cost like $100 when it was all said and done

 

It's obvious, no one is going to work for $5 , fiverr is good place when you purchase extras gigs, the freelancer feels then, he & his work is appreciated.

I've been looking for writers too. I've tried everything so now I'm just posting comments in blogging forums. I have a new site for bloggers to post their content and gain free backlinks and traffic called newsTag.us. There really isn't a quality site to for writers to sign up for where it is easy to hire a writer.

 

I've heard that freelancers and odesk can be effective websites that can help find reliable freelancers.

 

Fiverr
With fiverr you can hire 10 people for the same small job. Find one or two that are good and pay them more. I think of it more like interviewing a bunch of people, and I can easily select one or two to continue working with.

 

You can also include Staff.com in the list.

 

Anyway, there are also the ones going away after half work. I'm sure it's not the majority. You can also just meet other guys through forums or in real life and find better deals and skills.

 

If you are looking for inexpensive but highly competented IT specialist, I would recommend guys from Positive Power (Poland) as they offer body leasing of a project team or single specialist for a specific project. You can easily google them.

 

What type of talent are you after? I know a forum that has super cheap talented writers.
