Is there a list of UK directories (and forums) - free or paid

If you search the forums on DP you will find many.

I had a great thread but cant seem to find the link.

 

well you can google it by adding site:co.uk method...i was also looking for it.
Which software you are using to submit your websites..

 

Googling it results in finding a lot of spammy poor quality sites. I was hoping some users here might have some thoughts. I searched the forums for UK directories and only this thread comes up.
I would have thought yell.com, applegate, etc. I'm not using any software for submissions, was going to do it manually as I understand manual submissions to a few good relevant ones are better than automatic submissions to 1000s but perhaps I am mistaken. So perhaps I should look at software with a good international / UK list of directories and forums. Any suggestions?
