I agree a good forum, But things have started to slow down. If Puddy doesn't do something to liven it up it may go away. jc
Guys let me tell you one thing,Bcoz of this list I am able to rise from PR0 to PR3 in one PR update without spending a $ on link building.
Can I add my new forum....AdminsDen.com We are in the middle of promotions at the minute and help we can get to give it a push would be most appreciated...Competitions will be starting soon
Nice stats. So without nofollow means dofollow right? Confused me. I have been a member of nearly them all. I don't like sitepoints layout. I pretty much choose DP most of the time because its a lot easier to use and post. Aswell as its more busy for the adsense related themes.
I am a member of a few. I breeze through others. Each has their advantages. But frankly, I am too busy to spend my day posting endlessly in countless forums. So you have to pick a few you like, and stick to those or you'll never get any work done.
I agree. I like DP the best by far. Most visitors, most helpful advice, most freedom to explore. The thing about Sitepoint, is that the moderators are very possessive and use the forum as a way of promoting their own businesses. They like to keep everything to themselves and reprimand or suppress anyone who disagrees with them. Check it out, you'll see what I mean. Pretty unpleasant experience and there is no reason, as far as I can tell, to go there as opposed to DP. DP seems to have all of the info and feedback that one requires, so I pretty much use DP for almost everything I need. One of the really great sites that adds value over and above DP is WildersSecurity, which is devoted to security issues. I also like DNforum and Namepros for their specialized advice. The problem I find with SEO Chat, is that I get the feeling that the real information is being held back, and all I am getting is the same SEO information over and over again, which I already find on DP. I hired a good local SEO guy in my neck of the woods, and for a very reasonable amount of money, got more info in a few hours than the hundreds of hours I spent on SEO forums. I understand why professionals would not want to give away trade secrets for free, so I don't begrudge them. It just isn't a good way to use my time. V7N is also pretty decent, but not the traffic and follow-through of DP. It is true - DP rules. Rich
I think most webmasters know that Alexa can be gamed, but in general I find the relative value of Alexa pretty useful, since all the big sites are gaming in the same way. But I don't live and die by them. From my own experiences I know that DP is the go-to place, so it doesn't matter to me what Alexa or PR shows. Rich
i used to like another site , but don't get much to go now . www.TheAdminZone.com , its not just forums but also got various interviews and articles .
