Forget webmaster-talk they are useless forum used to be good, just full of spam and loads off over top advertising. But rest of list is good

For buy sell forum you can go for sitepoint, namepro even DP is also having a good buy sell forum segment.

Some forum use Nofollow in Signature link and it is not helpful for link building. So i had mentioned forum those Signature link is Without Nofollow.

 

The number one forum of the year is Forum Know How, released by Robert Puddy.

For two reasons:

It's Paid, which means the freebie rift raft are not there posting spam and bulls**t.

The Moderators are experts in their IM fields which means you get the real answers you need to your IM questions. Not a bunch of useless fodder and one liners.

Webmaster-forum does have a lot of people just posting one word comments just to increase their post count (lots do it here in DP too), but does have some very friendly and knowledgeable people there, and a nice HTML and programming forum/section.

But how about the http://forums.seochat.com/ nice forum with lots of SEO experts and ongoing SEO experiments (1176 Alexa PR5)

Also http://www.Webdigity.com is a nice forum with a friendly atmosphere knowledgeable people/willing to help (PR5 ALEXA in the 50K)

Personally I also like http://forums.seochat.com/ not too many people hang out there but very friendly and helpful bunch
