I have a lot of questions regarding SEO and I didn't want to spam this forum up so I figured I'd dump this all into one topic. :p

    1. H1 tags are good SEO, but will it affect the usefulness of the h1 tag if I were to edit it via CSS?

    2. Would it be better to use h1 tags for all paragraph headers, or would it be best to use h1 tag once in the beginning and strong tags for the rest of the paragraph headers?

    3. If your navigation links are very keyword dense (not in a spammy way) and link to pages on your site with good content, will the high density of keywords/key phrases in your navigations' links/titles be bad SEO?

    4. Is there a place online where I can post my site URL for an SEO review to see how well my site is SEOd and to receive helpful tips on how to improve it?

    5. To prevent use of poison words, would it be better to use an image map in the banner/footer for links such as; legal disclaimer, forums, home, etc.?

    6. If your site's been online for a year and you just drastically changed layout/content, what's the process/estimate for the time when your SEO pays off?

Their pretty newbish questions, I know. :)

    Thanks everyone.

In my opinion, one h1 per page works best (use h2 for the rest of the paragraph headers).

There is a thin line between "keyword dense" and "spammy". I would need to see an example to make a call on that one :).

Yes. Here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=92 (you need 25 posts though, so your close ;)...)

That depends on how drastic the change. Did you go from a mesothelioma made for adsense site to an online store that sells hippy jewelry? Regardless, the older a site the better it seems to be liked by search engines. A year old site, unfortunately, is not that old (but it's better then a brand new url/site).

IAn EG would be the 'Naruto Media' navigation of my site on narutonet.net.

My content has been drastically changed and I'm still working on improvinig it. So all pages/layout will be edited but my theme is still the same. :)

Thanks for giving me concise answers.
