List of Prorate Amounts

Trying to create a list of Prorate amounts for my employees so that when someone walks into the office they can tell them "if you signed up today it would cost you $xx.xx", but i'm having a hard time finding any report or anything else inside of OG that will show me this. I can get pretty close by using my own formula, but i'm still off by a couple cents each day.

Is there a report inside of OG that will tell me what these prorate amounts will be?

If there isn't, then what is the formula that OG uses to calculate prorate amounts so that I can create my own spreadsheet with these amounts for my employees.

The amount will be different each month because Optigold is very precise. It works like this:

    1. Check how many days in the month there are (or how many days in the prorate period if it spans multiple months).
    2. Calculate the cost per day based on the number of days and how much they pay per month normally.
    3. Multiply the cost per day by the calculated daily rate.

So if someone signs up on the 1st day of the month then they would owe for that day and a full month.....now what happens if they sign up on the 2nd of the month.....will they have to pay setup&fullmonth or setup&fullmonth&prorate (which would in essence be 2 full months)?

Depends on how you have it setup under the invoicing preferences. You can choose to add a full month to the prorate (or not).

what is the name of the option....because i'd like for it to NOT post a full month....so on the 2nd of the month the prorated amount is 0.

There is an option for "Months To Add To Prorated Amount".

if i set that to 0 will that only effect the day that the prorate is actually equal to $0.00 or will it effect the entire prorate process?

It will affect any time a prorated invoice is created.

I guess what i'm really trying to figure out is if on the 1st day of your cycle....which in this case is the 2nd of each month.....will the prorated amount be equal to $0.00 and the customer will be payed up till the 1st of next month....or will the prorated amount be equal to a full month and therefore the customer will be payed up for 2 months

If the customer expires on the 1st, and you have it setup to prorate to the 1st, there would not be any proration necessary, so they would get charged the full month (just like a normal billing cycle).
