Note that this is sale of domain info and NOT domains itself. When you buy this list, you can register at your registrar of your choice. Though the domains availablility are checked at Godaddy, you should be able to register them at other registrars also.

Why do people pay to have a list of available domains sent to them?

 

so they can register them for themselves and sell them on , or use them for a new site
