Don't know which blog technology you're using but if you use wordpress it has a plugin which updates the following services every time you post. You don't even need to push an extra button. and you can add more yourself if you can find 'em http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ http://1470.net/api/ping http://www.a2b.cc/setloc/bp.a2b http://api.feedster.com/ping http://api.moreover.com/RPC2 http://api.moreover.com/ping http://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2 http://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping http://www.bitacoles.net/ping.php http://bitacoras.net/ping http://blogbot.dk/io/xml-rpc.php http://blogdb.jp/xmlrpc http://www.blogdigger.com/RPC2 http://blogmatcher.com/u.php http://www.blogoole.com/ping/ http://www.blogoon.net/ping/ http://www.blogpeople.net/servlet/weblogUpdates http://www.blogroots.com/tb_populi.blog?id=1 http://www.blogshares.com/rpc.php http://www.blogsnow.com/ping http://www.blogstreet.com/xrbin/xmlrpc.cgi http://blog.goo.ne.jp/XMLRPC http://bulkfeeds.net/rpc http://www.catapings.com/ping.php http://coreblog.org/ping/ http://www.lasermemory.com/lsrpc/ http://mod-pubsub.org/kn_apps/blogchatt http://www.mod-pubsub.org/kn_apps/blogchatter/ping.php http://www.newsisfree.com/xmlrpctest.php http://ping.amagle.com/ http://ping.bitacoras.com http://ping.blo.gs/ http://ping.bloggers.jp/rpc/ http://ping.blogmura.jp/rpc/ http://ping.cocolog-nifty.com/xmlrpc http://ping.exblog.jp/xmlrpc http://ping.feedburner.com http://ping.myblog.jp http://ping.rootblog.com/rpc.php http://ping.syndic8.com/xmlrpc.php http://ping.weblogalot.com/rpc.php http://ping.weblogs.se/ http://www.popdex.com/addsite.php http://rcs.datashed.net/RPC2/ http://rpc.blogrolling.com/pinger/ http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ http://rpc.technorati.com/rpc/ping http://rpc.weblogs.com/RPC2 http://www.snipsnap.org/RPC2 http://trackback.bakeinu.jp/bakeping.php http://topicexchange.com/RPC2 http://www.weblogues.com/RPC/ http://xping.pubsub.com/ping/ http://xmlrpc.blogg.de/ http://bblog.com/ping.php http://effbot.org/rpc/ping.cgi http://thingamablog.sourceforge.net/ping.php
And where do you get the plugin?? They don't even have there plugin section up yet. And please don't tell me it's 'Hello Dolly'!!!
The XML-RPC service on Blogbot.dk is only available to users who have signed up in advance. Other users are blocked. In order to sign up, the blog must be written in Danish and meet certain other criteria. I currently block several hits to the XML-RPC service per second from people who somehow got the URL of the XML-RPC service and pasted it into their blogging software without checking what it was for. This is consuming quite a lot of resources on my little server. I'd appreciate if the original posters could remove Blogbot.dk from their posts (if that is possible) so that it isn't used by people who are copy-pasting these lists. Thanks
So once you submit your RSS feed to all those submission directories, do you have to constantly submit again or ping them or something? BTW...I don't even know what ping means. LOL
Anyone that's submitted your feed to a bunch of places. Have you gotten any traffic from them, or is that tough to tell. I don't know what kind of referer you'd get from someone's RSS reader.
