Drishyam, Guilty,Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Fly Away Solo, Rahasya, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2,Gabbar is Back, Margarita, with a Straw, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani,Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Badlapur, Piku, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Baby, Dum Laga Ke Haisha etc These are Bollywood movies. Because Bollywood is watched only in India, I don`t think that the rest of us are interested in indian movies. In order for a movie to be a super hit, the whole world needs to watch it. How many million dollars did this "Drishyam" movie make? For me the absolute blockbuster of the year was Star Wars (in terms of box office revenue, it will bring the most money, although it didn`t bring too much originality to the table). Another movie I liked was Tarantino`s Hateful Eight. The biggest disappointment for me was The Revenant: This movie is so SF, it brings Star Wars to shame. Leonardo is trying too much to get an oscar and his acting is starting to look a little bit forced to me (this is my opinion don`t bring the torches to my door). The movie should have been named "I shouldn`t be alive", not the Revenant
just finished watching tanu weds manu returns and dum laga ke haisha.. these were pretty great .. considering the Indian standard of films
Star Wars was meh, Han Solo dying was brought in a way I really didn't fell a darn thing and that makes me more sad then the scene......
