Many but not all are created in wordpress and I'm going through the list for testing the sites now (Thank you).
Said that I would like to find out more about software/scripts for article directory sites. But I guess that's a subject for another thread.

I agree entirely with this answer. What does it matter if you have to wait a few days when you are going to get more benefit from the link?

I personally use ezine articles as I believe it gives the best SERP boost but from the list I would say goarticles is really good too.

 

It just nice to know the article went through. What I noticed is that you can get backlinks even when your article is only a draft or pending! With the wordpress article directories, you'll get an author page which allows for a backlink.

Right now I'm working through article directory list to find the most suitable ones.

Now, a small disclaimer about the all other list of article directories that are posted inside this thread by other individuals rather than this one LIST OF INSTANT APPROVAL ARTICLE DIRECTORIES is simply nothing to do with my original list & I haven't tried them as well. The directories that I have mentioned in my original post, I can vouch for them only.
