    Squidoo definitely works for me. On a side note some of those article directories will automatically accept your article. However, most have no traffic associated with them.

    I use squidoo too and I'm pretty happy with it, I also use ezinearticles and they rank quite quick too

    Article marketing has become quite a tricky business these days. One must not go on submitting articles randomly to just any article directory unless one knows their ways and means of backlinking. Out of the lists provided above it is worth the efforts to choose a few very useful names and submit content with them. For instance I have been using Ezine, squidoo and Sooper Articles. All the three have some rules for our own good.
    I used to submit articles to Articlebase and Go too, but now they dont seem very useful. Articlebase is not indexed at Google properly and Go article has compromised their quality. One can submit any article with them.
