List of Good Directories, anyone?

I was checking some of the directory submissions I had outsourced and when I was doing a 'bad neighborhood' check on my sites, I found that many of the directories were considered as bad neighborhood as they contain links to gambling, porno, and drug sites.

I have therefore decided not to trust the directory submission services much. I would like to know if anyone knows a list of good directories which do not link to bad neighborhood. I would also like to know if there are any directory submission services available here on DP which will submit my sites to the list which I give to them, rather than using their list. I will appreciate your reply. Thanks.

You can use my submission service and I will submit to your list !!

 

And www.addurl.nu is another good list.
But I think this is not updated since long.

 

Each directory has its own standards, and ones definition of "bad neighborhood" will vary from one person to another.

You can check the directory list in my signature, but what those directories list is entirely their right.

jitendraag has a good service as well. He can help you manage submissions.

If you are concerned about bad neighborhood sites, know that them linking to you is not much of a problem. It's who you link to that can really get you in trouble.

Nothing against addurl.nu, but those are high PR directories. I offer some directory submission tips, one of which is to submit to high PR directories last.

I don't understand the obsession with high PR directories :!!

 

Try to use directory critic, just double check the site, some are shown have PR, but they are already unranked now.
