List of German speaking search engines

I am looking for a list of German speaking search engines, that are using custom searching system. <-- Search engines that are using custom crawl BOTs and thus are NOT powered by any other big search engine API’s, such as Google custom search, etc.

Do you know some?

I guess google is the only search engine which is famous in german language ...

 

Don't really think you will get lucky there mate. What's your thinking behind this, anyway? Everybody in the German speaking region just uses Google, or Bing, mostly unknowingly though...

 

Hope some people can list the most favourite SE in each country.

 

Google is your friend in this case. Its easy just go to Google search engine and type what you want, i'm sure you will get it.

 

Google is the best as the others say , no matter for you german or world wide , google rocks everywhere , so i would suggest google for you

It's presentation of search results is certainly interesting. Take a look at these results I got for the search "Copa America":

well its focus ist on switzerland and not so much on America

 

I don't mean that, more like it is interesting how results are presented in general. Not just a list of links you know. News first, and information from other sources. Do you think that is recommendable for other search engines?
