    Well, here's my list of wires that offer free press release service. I have tried to submit to all of them and I should say the results vary. Press releases can give you some initial traffic and provide a couple of backlinks.

    Although these services will not promote your site to the level you may expect, I still think it is a good idea to submit a press release on the event of launching a new site or any other major event.

    If you are in hurry submit just to: #4., 6., 7., 8., 10. and 13.

    Thanks for the list. I'm going to check it out. However, I can already see some wires that were free but are not free any more. This is a problem with some newsletter submitters. Once they get popular they start to charge you lots of dosh :mad:
