Great to see you all enjoying the resource. I'm currently working through an update and around another 30 new free directories (I will also be removing quite a few that have converted to pay for inclusion). Obviously the change in PR has created a fair bit of extra work for me but I should be finished sometime this week.

Getting about 10 referalls a day. Great free-directory resource.

 

What do you consider as free? Is becoming an editor (without application, just sign up) a form of a free directory? If so I miss JoeAnt.com.

Question - Why would you include redirects in your list if your list is only SEO friendly directories? Redirects only help the directory, not the website requesting the link.
Most Popular Sites is a redirect. This is one of the things I look for when finding directories to list ourselves and our clients in.

By the way, thank you for the great list. It has helped in a big way.

 

Yeah, redirects are no good. I tend to skip those if I see em.
