I want to increase traffic by joining few good autosurfing sites. Not for making money just for good reciprocal hits. Please suggest me few free autosurfing sites. Thanks. :)

Autosurfing or manual surfing sites generally provide traffic of very low quality.
Unless you just want the satisfaction of seeing the number of hits, it is better to keep off them.
*(It is only my opinion though)

Autosurfing does nothing but waste bandwidth.

I think it also really depends on what your site is, and what you're trying to accomplish... I certainly wouldn't put a corporate website onto an autosurfing program... but there are some types of sites that can do well with it, imho.

Well, sites that make money through advertising by banner impressions, it can help out a bit. Sites that aren't commercial and don't have a professional image, because those are the types of sites the autosrufers _might_ actually stay at. An autosurfer obviously isn't terribly interested in buying anything...

That could indeed help out a bit... getting you banned from the network providing your banner impressions for you.

All the ad networks have some clause that prevents the use of any artificial ways of generating impressions. Autosurfing will definitely fall into that category. You should make sure by reading the ToS and Publisher agreements, very very carefully!

Good point, that wasn't a highly educated statement on my part, being that I don't use any banner impression ad services/networks, nor do I use autosurfers... Thank you for bringing that up! :)
I have used them in the past, but not for a couple years now.

Ive used them but they don't work for the type of sites I promote. My experience has been 1000's of impressions, no clicks, no sales. And this will get you banned from Adsense.

Anyone had any success? What kind of site did you promote?

Instead of autosurf why don't you try an alternate traffic exchange?

I use wannaclick.com, no strings attached and no money involved, except if you want to pay to get additional impressions than those you earn visiting sites.

I have seen the "earn money" fact is what make autosurfs not reliable.

I use Traffic Swarm and webmasterquest. Still no quality traffic. Lots of impressions though.

I think autosurf websites can work for websites related to webmasters. I know a guy who uses them and sell webmaster stuff with some success.

autosurf can give you a lot of traffic, but may not be many sales. It is really a great help to bring up you alexa ranking:)

Does autosurfing makes the site to drop on search result?

i think we should not use it. That's not quality traffic and maybe Google ban your website.

You should consider using the following strategy to increase your traffic instead....
    1. Engage in blog posting comments
    2. Engage in forums posting
    3. Article marketing

Key thing is to provide valuable content and traffic will flow naturally. :)
