I agree with jitendraag : take advantage of sollicitation category of this forum or similar one's. You get your site listed quite quickly, generally within 24 h. or less. Since they are usually new directories, it may take some time until the link page (and your link) has been indexed by search engines. Nevertheless, you may get your link indexed there quicker than in other directories. Furthermore, they are usually free.
