This is a good compiled list of the article directories but one thing which is missing is givin info abt which are auto approved.

 

How many of them are free to post the articles. I already have on ezine

 

The difficulty in using directories are:

#1. It's very time consuming.
A better solution is to use a system in which the process is more automated (unless you are outsourcing directory submissions).

#2. It can take a long time before the links are accepted and published, and it can take even longer before those links are ever discovered by the search engine spiders.

It can be a lot of work submitting to directories, only to see little, or no results.

To OP: could you add http://www.internetwebportal.com/ to PR2s, please. It's human-moderated do-follow one.

 

I love article marketing, but I would never recommend getting carried away manually submitting the same article to 20+ different directories - pick 2-3 of the big ones, submit there once in a while and get some kind of automation tool for the rest - there just isn't enough time in the day to do them all and the benefits are very marginal once you go down the list to the less popular ones.

When is the last you test all the article directories? There are so many changes, with some article directories adding the nofollow tag.

I've looked into this sort of project before and found it more trouble than it is worth. Post link on sites which don't demand an exchange and article publishing sites which share adsense revenue and don't own your copyright as soon as you publish with them (ie don't post on Ezine). Article directories demand you add their logo to your site or blog and they look rubbishy.

 

The list was updated last week, all the directories there are do follow
