List of Directories that are Worthwhile to Submit your Websites

Where can I find a good list of directories that have a decent page rank and are worthwhile to submit too?

 

When considering directories, be sure to check more than just PR. Keep in mind that Google updates PR only rarely, and the last couple PR updates have been very flakey. For example, www.arcadeforce.com is PR7. In my opinion, it should be PR6. Hey, if it deserved PR7, I would be the first to claim it, but honestly, it should have been PR6. On the other hand, www.alivedirectory.com went PR4 on the February PR update (it should have been at least PR7, if not 8), and then did not change on the April update (as was the case with most sites that already had PR). So, as you can see, PR is not currently a very good representation. Better to check backlinks, IMO.

 

This is a great resource. http://www.strongestlinks.com/directories.php. If there is room in the category you are looking for try our new web directory www.index-it.net. it may not be the pr you looking for just yet but give it some time. Remember just because a sites pr is not visable it does not mean that it has now no pr. Page Rank is always updated, but Google has it own time when they will display it.

Christ is right about the PR. I noticed my own site is still at PR1 after google update on 4/4 and have relatively a number of back links. ... I wondered.
