    Hi

Well I think the title says it all ;)

I would be grateful for a list of directories that approve in a decent time frame, a large number of them seem to take forever to approve, if they even do.

    Thanks

    Dee

    Hi again

I found the business cat and submitted there, said it was waiting to be approved, but it did gave me this error

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/mooladays/mooladays.com/wp-content/themes/blogtheme/header.php:54) in /home/mooladays/mooladays.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-link-directory/securimage.php on line 422

Thought you'd like to know :)

What kind of directories are you submitting to?

If you are paying for a review to be listed it should normally be completed within 24 to 48 hours.

If you are submitting to free directories - what exactly are you expecting for free? There is no list of free directories which approve quickly that I know of nor would I trust such a list.

For free directories your best chance is to watch the solicitations forum for new directory announcements as they usually approve them faster.

i usually glance at the directory's 'pending submissions' count if it's listed on the front page. if it's ridiculously high, i pass on the submission. for my own paid directory, i always approve quickly- it's important to have good customer service since you never know who's going to be a repeat buyer or tell a friend or post a link somewhere saying how quick you are.

I assume you are asking about FREE directories.

If this is the case, then expect long (sometimes very long) waits to be reviewed and listed. The more popular and well-maintained, the longer it will likely take. Expect wait times of several weeks or even months for some.

And those free directories that can list you quickly are usually (1) relatively new, or (2) have very poor editing standards, or (3) are nothing more than auto-approve link farms.

The above comments are just some of the highlights of why free directories have some serious flaws. If you need faster service, you should use paid directories...faster review times and usually promoted and maintained much better.

I used to have such a list of quick approved free directories; the trouble is most free directory owners fall behind as a result of high submissions and the list becomes useless.

    Thanks Brian

Most pay for review directories are rather fast in approving submissions.

You might want to check out 'new directories' announced in http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65 section to find directories that are rather fast in approval.

On top of my mind, I see fast approvals from vuwl.com, webnetclick.com, directory.ldmstudio.com are rather fast in approval.

Paid directories will approve your website in 24 to 48 hours however free directories may take longer time and approval is dependent upon the quality of your link

You can use this search and set the review time to your criteria to find directories where their owners have specified a fast review time.

Your directory is not working now, the same goes for about 4 directories being promoted here.

This is the major problem I am running into when submitting to newer directories. They are here one minute and gone the next.
