People always ask what directories should they submit, so I decide to make my how list, while link building for my new Ask Directory I submitted to many paid directories and 1 or 2 free, I created this little list with the ones in my personal opinion that offer the greatest ROI (return on investment) Alive Directory (good value) Your Index (very good value) Webspassage (biggest bang for the buck) Kwik goblin (being heavily promoted) Web Master Hole (good value) This is our year (good value 2 listing for the price of one) Elegantdirectory (good value) Graphics Directory (good value) urlz.net (good value) Dirmoz (good value) I didn’t found great value on older established directories they are really full and even with featured links you get on 2 pages. Directories to avoid Business.com (with adsense everywhere and “nofollow†just forget it) BOTW (if you get a good place could be worth it, but a little high price tag on my opnion) Off course it’s my opinion and other people will disagree, and yes you are right, I am being paid by the owners of this directories to make publicity Good Submissions…. Cheers
Sorry but this list has been discussed quite a few times here and a big list of the best strong dirs. is given here : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=120550 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=129721
What about these ones:? http://www.octopedia.com My favorite http://www.seoma.net http://www.axeq.com http://www.directorydelta.com
Like I said it’s my personal list, I believe there are many other, this one are at this moment my favorites. I didn’t submit to octopedia.com, because I read in this forum someone trying to contact the owner for 2 weeks with no luck, But i probably will do it in the future.
I submitted to Octopedia looks like very good value you link inside description and you get one PR4 with only your deep links, very nice, waiting to see the ranking of the links on yahoo link: command. Seoma and Octopedia share the same IP really bad.
