List of companies who mediate domain buying?

I see a domain that I want, but this guy has had it registered for 6 years and his site is nothing but a crappy looking banner and two links to some WoW sites.

He really is shaming the domain name. I am sure I could get the guy to sell it but I have never bought a domain off of someone. Is there a company I can go to to help mediate this? I know godaddy.com does it but they charge like $60 or something like that. Is there any cheaper option out there?

    I appreciate any help.

    Thanks,

    Phishie

Exactly as you said, there are risks. That is why I was looking for a company to mediate this. I don't want to get ripped off here.

Thanks for that link. It's late I'll bookmark it and check into it tomorrow.

If anybody else knows of anything like this let me know. =]

    Thanks,

Moniker for sure! Both parties are protected since both the domain and the monies go into escrow.

If you have any questions, contact Victor or Monte over there.

I'm pretty sure it was escrow.com we've used in the past and they were pretty good.
