I have just compiled a list of blogs that use the Top Commentator widget on their blog, sorted by PageRank. These top commentator links are all dofollow. The list is up to date as of right now - I just did it. You can find the list at: List Of Blogs With Top Commentator Widget If you don't know the benefits of link building with the Top Commentators widget, than I recommend you read this article: Using The Top Commentator Plugin For Backlinks I hope you find it helpful
Sorry TakeThat, I will add LinkersBlog to the list If anyone else has a blog with the Top Commentators widget installed then tell me to add it and I will
sorry, I only have a webmaster list (and one random PR 4 link) - they are still relevant to computer science Some are to do with programming and stuff so u may find them helpful
Most of the blogs on this list have the rel="externalnofollow" tag. Including whoever posted that list. Last time I checked, this made sure that search engines would not classify your links as backlinks. Which if this is true is a big irritation because I spent alot of time on the list before I noticed the fact.
Now Simonspurr, if the point of you providing this list is to give someone the opportunity to create backlinks for their site. But actually when they do go post and provide content for these blogs, they are not going to receive what you say they are going to receive (such as in this case). Is that not extremely dishonest on your part? Also how about the individual's whose time you've wasted? You can't say that you weren't aware, because your website is one of the one's with the nofollow tag. Which means you had to choose the option to include that tag for all of your links. Stop deceiving people and wasting everyone's time.
Have a look for yourself. Simply view the page source, or select a link from one of the blogs commented on and right click, then go to "view selection source". You will see that they have the "nofollow" tag...including this guys site. By the way, I dig that tool you made egeem2. Thanks a bunch.
This question is really for anyone, but this spot seemed appropriate enough for it. How can you tell, by looking at the code (pretend you are a machine), if sombody has this widget installed on their site.
cool, thanks for the great list. Also, I checked out your blog and you've got some great info there as well.
Guys, I have not provided a list of dofollow blogs - the dofollow links are those present in the top commentators widget - highlight a link in the TOP COMMENTATORS widget and "view the selection source" - you will see that these links are dofollow - I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT JUST SINGLE COMMENTS ON POSTS HERE If u still don't understand the benefit of the Top Commentators plugin, then u really shouldn't call yourself a link builder... To all those who found the list helpful, thanks for your feedback
Understand that you are giving information to the public. I understand that you may be half-cyborg so you eat, breath and discharge codes and wires, but some people here are business men. If you are going to instruct someone to do something, explain yourself in full. Go take a look at those sites and see how many individuals dropped comments wondering why there are no-follows everywhere. Otherwise don't complain from flack you receive. Especially from one man. As well as explaining yourself fully for those of us who did not understand.
