Yeah but one feature link got you a PR4 (Home Page), a PR3 (category) and 2 other links (Subcategory & Detail pages) to boot. They can't give you 4 links for one bid. :D

The best part about bid directories is that you only have to pay what you think they are worth today. You can always top-up your bid if the directory is well promoted. :)

You might want to split this list into niches.

My link bidding directory, Web Directory List, has gotten some normal sites refered from this thread. (Why they can't read the Guidelines, I don't know)

I'll make note next update you accept only directories.

Also note to self: found another alpha directory ...

    Hello...

Bid on this one whoever owns it...???

    http://www.urlindexing.com/

    On a personal note:

The script that most of us are running enables the link to be included immediatly... :)
"that in my honest opinion is what makes this bidding directory Fun" :D
I think that those that are "approving" instead of letting the script run itself as normal
need to consider this option unless an error is commited then go back to the origanal way.

Another thing that i feel anyone "should really NOT do" is add in thier own
Directories an effort to start "high bids" as i see this as to an effect bad ethics and poor taste. :(

Again this is only my feelings over this and nothing more...
open for discussion if anyone sees anything ive gotten wrong...

    thx
    malcolm

Have you noticed any directories out bidding listings with their own? If so, PM me so I don't submit there.

No im not saying it like your taking it....

This individual started the bid at $$ which is obvious  but then you took all fun out of it as your trying to dictate the normal betting curve...

I dont think he did it on purpose  .... just trying to be $$ money hungry is all.. thats why i said "bad taste"

    thx

I don't know if you missed this, Malcolm, on your submit page (bid-dir.com), the description boxes for entry are ridiculously wide. On 1600x1200, I can scroll about 20 inches.

I just want to mention another one in that list -

I have bid for $25 when I launched this site, since the domain was already PR4. And I thought its the right price to get the things started....

Well, I know that BigWebLinks isn't cheating - on Chris's site: Rob is #1 (and plans on staying that way as I hear...), Dan is #2, and so on.
