List of almost 3000 directories ordered by Pagerank

I've just finished compiling a list of almost 3000 directories listed by PR (it's taken me almost all day
I've posted them up on my site here - Directory List

I'll hopefully, time permitting be adding more and updating the pagerank around PR update time.

Those of you that submit to directories hopefully you'll find it useful

on you list i note that you are not carrying the www. over for the pagerank assignments.

so for example:

http://allwebscape.com is a PR0
while
http://www.allwebscape.com is a PR 6

What would be your plans to incorporate both? Are there any plans on putting out a www. related list as well?

It's still very much work in progress, for now I've had to drop the www. to accomodate the directories that use subdomains, I'd have been there for weeks if it wasn't for find and replace! Over the next couple of weeks I'd like to add a www. version and also make the links live

All you'd need to do to add the www list is search and replace :// for ://www. then run the list through a page rank checker again....

Nice work so far on this. Just scanning through quickly though I see many that are paid directories, and a couple that have closed down. That's the hard part with a list like this, actually going through and verifying the ones that are good

The problem would be is that would add www. to subdomains, which wouldn't work. My plan is to do as you recommend and then manually go though and correct the subdomains though.

It'll probably have to wait for the weekend as it's 10.45 here and I have my tax return to do tomorrow

Smub - sorry about that, I noticed a few of those earlier, I guess it slipped though the net, I'll fix it when I do the update, thanks for letting me know

 

Lightweight, fill your tax return online you then have till the end of the year for them to calculate your tax

Nice list though.

Quite a few of them I've had saved for a while, I updated it yesterday so I thought I'd put it on my site for others to use - without actually realising how much work it would take
I'll get the changes done this week so hopefully it'll be a lot more useful

Most are, though I haven't had time to check all of them, some may have gone paid since I last checked. If you spot any paid ones just let me know and I'll remove them.
