Hi, Nice list. I have a question, how is it possible that one of the directories on the list with PR 3 has no links in the directory? Must say that i'm missing my blogdirectory on the list
thanks for the list, is there a wordpress plugin or something to automatically ping all of these when you add a new post?
You can use http://pingomatic.com/ which automatically ping some blogs like Weblogs.com Technorati BlogRolling Blogdigger and many others. http://pingoat.com/ also offer similar ping service.
Thanks for the list. How "bloggy" does a website need to be before you can post it as a blog. I am going to adding a section to my site: sportsmanstube.com for general hunting and fishing news, but it might be more static than the traditional wordpress, drupal, etc. Do you think that would still be ok to add it to a blog directory? Thanks.
That's a good question and one that I'm faced with from time to time. What I like to see is most of these features. Posts are listed in reverse chronological order. There is an archive, preferably by date and category. Comments are open. Posts are made regularly, not necessarily frequently, as some excellent academic blogs post long articles maybe once or twice a month.
