    lol that's what I was thinking...there isn't enough time in the day to submit to anywhere near that many directories. I just stick with all of the majors and move on to other forms of promotion

    I just use a directory submission service and don't worry about it to much after that. I work on backlinks myself at the same time from high PR sites

    That is a pretty big list. Maybe ask for a top ten or maybe even 50. Anyone want to put the work in to assimilate that?

    I seriously doubt that there is such 50K directory list.. To get a good 5K directory list would be sufficient actually

    Hey you dont need 50000 directories, you need just 50 directories which is related to your site theme to get your site up in the results.

    Don't waste your time submitting your site to 50,000 directories.They are a waste of time.
    What you need to do is get yourself in DMOZ and Yahoo directories.They are the only 2 worth mentioning as far as i am concerned.

    Yahoo charge $299 per year per URL and it is great for SEO purposes.DMOZ is free but is very tight when it comes to listing sites.
