List of 3,000 emails? What would you do?

Let's just say you had a list of 3,000 emails - what would you do with it? Would you sell it? Would you give out?

If you were going to sell it, how much would you sell it for?

 

If you are a regular torrent seeker than you will find this list very short. Recently I found a 2 million email-id list there. These can be used variously as you may use them in your email marketing campaign and also others if you find them.

 

How targeted are the emails though?

 

Actually in such cases you have to make your campaign in some kinda general way which can be of general interest of people and make your strategy in that manner. If talk about my campaign, I achieved success rate around 5% which is quite good for me.

 

Well, don't targeted emails matter?

 

I personally wouldn't sell it. If its targeted and they opted to join your mailing list, why not just advertise with your product or join an affiliate that sell products in your niche and get some revenue from that? Or go in a joint venture with someone that is selling a product in your niche and split the profits.

 

I would try to sell it as you have no idea how that list was done.

It is just a game of creating needs and than fulfilling. So all you need to do is just create a quite catchy email layouts than just fire them with email server.

 

Wow, I just checked and you're not wrong. Based on that, a list of 3,000 is pretty worthless.

Me if I would have that much I wouldn't sell it instead I'll use it to my own advantage.

 

I use it for email marketing selling email is not a right decision.

 

Well, who said you had to create a script to send the emails out? They're not on your mailing list, which means, you'd have to email them directly.
