List of 1500+ FREE web Directories Sorted by PR with submit links, G and Y backlinks

Hi Guys, so let me introduce you to our List of 1500+ Free Web Directories at http://directories.nbridges.com/

A considerable manual effort of hundreds of hours has been put into getting the list into current form. The List has Page Rank, Google Backlinks and Yahoo backlinks and can be easily sorted by them(just click on respective table name).

We have also introduced Submit Links so the list can also be used for quick directory submission.

Do tell me, What do you think of the list and is there anything which we can add ? I had thought of adding alexa rank but felt there is NO point in adding it, hence left it. Also if you have a good web directory which offers free submissions and if you would like to get listed, than tell me. I will add it in few minutes!

Guys, I will also appreciate if you can review the list and can comment(also suggestion) on following aspects of it -
1. Is the list loading fine ? we are using ajax/JQuery to retrieve the list from database. I want to know the list load in good time or not for everyone.
2. Is the design of the page looks fine ? we are using a free template from oswd.org for it.
3. Anything else which you would like to suggest ?

Sure, we uses that list for our personal use and I thought it will be nice if we can put it online so others can also get the benefit.

If you guys use that list which is 1500+ where do you find the other 1500 for your 3000 directory package? I had been looking at the add prices and may buy some

@Mark - Mark it wasn't sensible to put the whole list for 2 reasons -
1. We are fetching the list from the database with an xml call and retrieving so much data in one go was difficult
2. Building and maintaining list of 3000 is very difficult online.

ofcourse if people demands, than we will surely think of adding more directories and can take it too 3000!

Yes chios, all are FREE and Non reciprocal. We have spent considerable time in weeding out reciprocals. Infact I take lot of pride and pleasure to tell you that the list is MOST upto date list with latest Page rank and google and yahoo backlinks.

Lot of directories have lost PR and lot of ups/downs has happened with latest PR and link update so our list is most likely the ONLY one with latest info.

You are welcome to inform me about dead urls in the list and I will promptly remove it.

great list,

some suggestions:

- make it compaitable with FF as the internal window should be wider
- add a "Display Per Window" option, that you will not have a load on the DB, and who only wants top 100 will get top 100 or even top 50.
- the sorting is not working
- i would make the primary sorting on Google Backlinks as a lot of these directories having fake PR

and how could i forget:
make a new window on click of a link....

and also make the tables comma delimated or tab delimated even though you are not offering to download the list, i shuld be able to copy past it properly to notepad and later on open with excel

Well I had built it using FF only. I think there is some resolution problem and in lower resolution, it gets horizontal scrolling. I am using free theme from oswd.org as I am not a designer but will surely try do something about it.

Actually I am thinking of putting static pages as we don't update the DB that much anyway. This will give us more flexibility and we can get rid of all these db problem

well are you clicking on the table header ? I just checked it and PR, Yahoo and Google backlinks sorting is working. But ya, sorting by name creates problem,I don't know why ? May be I have to sit and fix all these things but I am just too busy with nBridges work and managing clients that I find very difficult to fix als these things. By the way, We have also built Social Bookmarking list and Article Directories list as well.

Well, I too wanted to do the default sorting with yahoo backlinks(as google don't show lot of links) but than felt to stick with PR. I am Not sure why ? May be because this is what the "standard" is or may be because this is what webmasters want to see. Anyway you can sort the list with g/y links in increasing/decreasing order.

Aaaah..Great suggestion and someone how I missed this. Now it is very difficult to edit the link code as everything in DB but still, since now everyone uses FF and tabbed browsing is supported in all the browsers, I think ppl can easily open submit links/web directories in new tab anyway.

How can I do it because honestly I don't have much idea of doing it.

Mark,I am running a company here and can tell you that I have enough people to complete all the orders well before expected time. As far as 150 directory submission is concerned, I can do it in 48 hours.
