backflip is under maintenance since a long ago and so on
if you refine this list then you'll find only 50-60 dofollow bookmarking websites

How will increase authority and link profile with nofollow? I already heard this but still doesn't understand the concept?

 

The nofollow tag is not treated equally by all search engines . Especially if you are talking about pagerank it is a "Google Only" phenomenon . That should not stop you from getting other good links just because they are nofollow . All other search engines value these links and Google is not the only search engine . Also these links are treated equal while calculating authority since good sites are linking to yours . It increases your MOZ Rank that is purely based on trust and authority and in turn it also affects Google search engine rankings positively . I am assuming that you are already aware that Google PR and Google SERPs are two mutually exclusive concepts .

 

Okay so nofollow tag is the concept of Google that doesn't make sense at all since it will be surpassed by external good sites linking to yours. Then your site will now be treated with authority and in turn affects your Google ranking.

I understand Google PR and Google SERP are different entities but still they are the results of SEO done.

Its alrite, dont be too hard on yourself that is why one should not put all eggs in one basket . Once I bookmark a link I forget about it and dont even care how many voted it up . That kills a lot of time to keep promoting links , it is more sensible to write one more article in the same time !
