Hi, I have been looking for some must read posts from this forum. I have decided to focus my site on msn searches as all of my pages are indexed there. Do you want somebody to tell you exactly, what to do in order to beat competitors in MSN for sure ? LOL May be I shall just give you the keys from my house ? LOL I think you should just use "search" feature of this forum to find what you need, and then make your own decisions.
Just get as many sitewide links as you can, I tried this with one site, I was nowhere to be seen in Google but right up there in MSN. Unfortunately I still got virtually no traffic!
The more technical you site the less you get form MSN, for example if you stay at the top of google for "cisco", you probably should think of a dedicated server but the same position at MSN wouldn't send you a single visitor.
I have a gambling website if that makes any difference. Most of my traffic comes from ppc. The search engines are 64% msn, 34% google and 2% from yahoo. Regards, Nobluff.com
