How to create an easy, proven system to collect leads. First of all, you need to have a squeeze page. One high converting method is to use the H-S-B-C approach. H stands for a headline and it needs to be catchy so that it grabs the eye. S stands for sub headline and it is used to support the essence of the headline. B stands for benefits, that is, the reason why a potential subscriber should opt in. C stands for call to action and it means the final push to actually having people opt in. Second thing to have is an autoresponder. Autoresponder is used to automate tasks to keep subscribers informed and up to date on campaigns and offers. The most important thing to remind with an autoresponder is that it is a powerful tool to help you with building relationship with subscribers and you should always provide value to your subscribers. If you spam your list, you destroy the relationship and lose the valuable list. Also, you should have a thank you page where your subscribers are directed after they opt in. It is important step as it establishes good will with subscribers. Furthermore, ethical and successful business is based upon the principle that subscribers are the heart of the online business. The most important ingredient is of course an irresistible offer that helps to drive people to your list. Nowadays, having just a newsletter doesn't work and it isn't enough to get people to opt in. Your irresistible offer can be something like ebooks, reports, memberships, exclusive offers or software. Here you are only limited by your creativity. But remember, your offer needs to have real value. Inferior offers only harm you. Also, the offer should of course be related to your niche. These are some of the methods I use in my internet marketing. I would like to know if others use the same strategies...
I agree with everything you say, but I want to add another item to your post. Perhaps the most important element, once you get that person on your list, is how you relate to him or her. With an online business, building this relationship is probably the most important thing you can do. Without that relationship, all of the other marketing activities you work on will probably not bring in much income, which of course is the main reason for your business's existence. How do you build that relationship? Unfortunately, it takes time, patience. and a lot of effort. Since most if not all of your online customers only know you from what they see of you online, your number one technique to building that relationship and letting your prospects and customers get to know you, like you, and trust you is through a sequence of emails which you send them on a regular basis. These emails should include information about you, questions about what they want from you, fresh content, an occasional free report or ebook, and only periodically a sales pitch.
Although I mentioned the importance of relationship building, this is a good addition giving deeper thought to it. Thank you oego.
