List 1 ebook or more on your site?

    Hi,

Do you get better results offering one clickbank (ebook) product on your small niche website or offer a bunch of them so hopefully your visitor will buy from one of them?

I have a small niche website and was wondering if I should list several of the ebooks related to it or if I should just push one.

    Thanks!

That totally depends on your approach. Many people have a review site that offers several e-books while recommending a specific one. Others are building a landing page or website based upon a specific product. In that case you would only have one.

    Thanks for your reply.
I have a small 5 page website in a specific menopause niche. So right now I just put up 2 affiliate books and deciding if I should add more.

I don't think you understood my point. Step back away from the internet marketing part of your brain, and start thinking like the person who is going to find your website. What will they see? Does it make sense? Will the fact that having two e-books as opposed to one fit into your overall content? What is the point of your site?

You must remember that people are going to be reading your site and making a buying decision. If something doesn't make sense then they are going to go away without buying your stuff.

Try to think like a customer, then give them what they want.

hunterman beat me to that one. If I were visiting your site, I would come across a page and be given an option. Later on, I keep browsing and stumble upon another page clearly recommending one specifically and giving reasons. I might be more inclined to then click that link to the same page (replacing your cookie with theirs) and then they get the sale, not you.

In that vein, I would list several as well. It's just a risk.

I used to start out listing several, and then after a while of sending large numbers of traffic to them all I would have an idea of what converts better - and then from there I would axe the poorer converting products, and put more enphasis on the ones that do convert, then perhaps you could even build a 1 page site purely focusing on this product for a very specific set of keywords, but I always think it is best to test a few products against each other so you find out what works before jumping into promoting just 1

Thanks for all the advice. I should test some products to see if any sell more than the other. Now I need to work on traffic :)
