Liquidweb vs Wiredtree VPS, need advice.

Both companies are reputable, but I hear great things about the LW network.
I personally checked both companies and they are great from what I've seen.

I found few differences, I understand Wiredtree has better hardware than Liquidweb.
I also found out only one person at Wiredtree works at the billing department where liquidweb has a whole department that handles that.

WT offers the VPS1000 plan + Litespeed = $61 and half off for the first two months :)
LW doesn't offer any discounts and their service is $60 a month.

I'd get little bit more ram 1gb at least.
LW offers 880mb for their 1GB plan (doesn't make any sense)
WT offers full 1GB ram (guaranteed)

Both companies are reputable, but I think I might got with WT because they offer free upgrades for their current customers for free yearly from what I've seen from them for the last 2 years.

Bottom line is, I need a web host that will load my website very fast, I need a very good host provider that offers a great network for users from US and Canada.
I've noticed also LW has Level 3 technicians available 24/7 on site, I think that's a good thing?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am sure that it will be reasonable to contact them both, tell your specific needs and budget, see what they will offer you and then make your final decision.

I have no problem with the pricing.
I've read plenty of reviews and talked to them directly, just need more feedbacks from the people that are using them or used them recently.
Just need to get a good provider with good uptime and good network so my website loads fast.

Website load time has to do with more then just the hosting company you choose. I am sure you are aware of this but another thing to consider is will their support optimize your server based on what you are running or using on it? Example if your site is made in wordpress, then there are a bunch of optimizations to speed things up that can be done on the server level. Might want to verify you will get that kind of support with either of these companies or maybe look into a fully managed server provider that will handle everything server related for you, so you can focus on your sites and traffic.

both are good, but keep in mind dont rely on r1soft backups, always have your own backups, both are excellent for normall issues but when it comes to disaster recovery or advanced task you ll be left alone. Go with WT for budget and performance but ALWAYS keep your own BACKUPS.

    good luck!

Personally I feel like big companies don't really care about support much, whereas a bit small companies do care for their clients a lot.

So its your choice, btw if wiredtree is giving discount then you can go with them and give it a go.

I doubt on this. There are many big web hosting companies and their support is great. In fact, one of the reasons for people considering hosts is the customer support they offer.

It has been an issue with small companies that there are no one in support to help customers during off-peak hours. Irrespective of the size of company, we should consider a host with best support.

Yes but that really depends, we can't say exact words on anything.

    I have to switch soon.
I am hitting 100% cpu usage due to vBSEO daily several times during peak times.
    I am considering M3servers too.
We will have to see who gives us the best pricing, support, uptime and best hardware.
Most likely looking to switch this week.
