    Hi

from time to time I have seen posts regarding running windows emulators on a linux box, eg 3 window emulators, running Filemaker server, filemaker client and webinterface.
Had a quick look but couldn't find anything on this forum.
If some one can do this setup or point me in right direction, that would be great.

    thanks

    Tim

You need something like vmware. it's not a windows emulator, but a PC emulator, so you can run multiple virtual machinines on one real machine.

With to-days Linux there is almost no need to run emulators, I don't.

But the anwsers you seek are best found on a Linux forum like http://www.linuxquestions.org/

so are you able to run filemaker server and a client on the same linux machine
I have not had much to do with linux so any help would be appreciated.
My understanding is that there is not a filemaker client for linux
