Linux VPS ALERT

    hi
    i buy a linux vps CentOS 5 with Plesk 8.X (64 bits)
    but the server is very slow i always receive server alert in kmemsize that overload..something
    so i thought maybe the problem from the os or something because the same web site is installed on shared hosting and his 10 times faster than this VPS.

    so please can you give me advice to what i change it or can anyone check for me thanks.

    It depends on your VPS load, the CPU and RAM limitation. How many RAM do you have? Equal share CPU or dedicated?

    Where are you getting the VPS from?
    Have you asked them about this problem?

    its from 1and1.fr
    and yeah i did ask theme they say the problem is software not hardwwre and we dont
    give support for software .

    I am not running Plesk, but from their site, it seems 256MB is minimum. If your OS is not optimized, you might need more RAM. Or you can switch to another kind of control panel such as DirectAdmin. It's using much less system resources.

    how i do that
    i just reinstall the os change it to Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (64 bits)
    but i can't do anything
    the only thing i have is vertuzzo
    the server is runnuig but whene i tape the server ip i got nothing

    this version of os it without nothing
    and i dont know how to install all other stuff
    i m gonna reinstall another version with plesk
    OpenSUSE 10.3 avec Plesk 8.6 (64 bits)

    now i recive this error ( ressource outage )
    numproc : Resourceis in Black Zone.
    othersockbuf : Resourceis in Black Zone.

    still on ubuntu iam traying to access from ssh with putty
